     Has anyone any idea how I could install Dropbox on my Maxisys 908 think it would be very handy as I have a lot of repair information on the cloud like access codes for vw and other repair information and would be brilliant if I could access it while used the 908, any help would be good thanks guys

    The easiest way is to use the onboard  google chrome internet explorer and download amazon app store.  It is a android app and from there you can download apps to install directly to your Maxisys.  You also need to go to settings, security and check unknown sources.

    I checked amazon's app store and dropbox is there

    When a user attempts to install 3rd party apps (.apk's) for the first time a
    conformation will pop up for the "unknown sources".. So manually opening settings to
    change (check box it) before hand is not required.
    Just somthing to note for those not familiar with an Android OS..
    The Dropbox app does work as I have it installed with no issue's.

     Plug scanner into computer and mount it to USB. Goto directory Scan/VehicleCP/maintanence. There you will see the websites, right click and make new folder. If you look at other folders you will see a .PNG file, it is a picture for the icon and a file called init.xml.  Copy any folders init.xml file to the new folder. Go into folder and make a .PNG file for a picture for the icon. Then open the init.xml file and edit the website name.  I didn't try this yet but I think it will work. When I get a chance I will try.

    This is what the init.xml file looks like

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <root>
     <car language="en">ALLDATA</car>
     <car language="cn">ALLDATA</car>
     <address>http://www.alldata.com</address>
     <version>V2.00.12</version>
     <date>2012.12.30</date>
    </root>

     Your Welcome Delloneill,  It was a guess on my part on how to do add links.  I had copied all the from the Maxisys to my computer as a backup just incase I mess things up or a file gets deleted.  I was browsing through it one day and came across that directory.  I glad that it all worked out good.
